Story announcements

First off, regarding my last post. While I was driving home last night, didn’t I totally come up with this brilliant thing I wanted a character to say and forget it by the time I pulled into my driveway? Ugh. Never fails. Anyway…

It’s summertime in Harborview and seventeen-year-old Xan Dawson plans to spend most of it creating memories with a very special friend.

If you read Like Fathers, Like Son (you can find it here) then you should already have an idea where this story is going. I wanted to do a Harborview Immortals story that had nothing to do with immortal beings, and I really liked the idea of seeing a side of Xan away from all the vampires in his life and just being a normal, human young man. This is a sort of coming-of-age story before all the piercings (though he’s got some here) and the tattoos and the sex. I don’t have a firm ETA yet but it’s not a terribly long story so my guess right now is sometime in June.

I’ve pushed back the release of The Rising Son to July due to circumstances that require a little bit of extra time. If that changes, of course you’ll be the first to know, but as for now, July’s looking like a pretty solid bet.

Finally, A Halloween Interlude is now permanently free! If you haven’t yet, go and grab a copy from Smashwords, B&N, Apple, or Kobo. It’s got geekiness and smut, a perfect combination. 😀

Bye for now!
